Gemalto: Digital Pin

Challenge

Have you ever been frustrated by having to wait days for a PIN code to arrive in the post after getting a new bank card? Gemalto’s (now Thales’) new Digital PIN service removes this hassle by delivering PIN codes instantly via mobile or the web. It turned to Brands2Life to create infographic and video assets capturing all of the benefits of this innovative new service. The assets needed to deliver information quickly and efficiently, and engage their target customers within banks.

Approach

We scripted and storyboarded a kinetic text video that could communicate the various benefits of the Digital PIN service in a dynamic way. Text and animated elements brought the service to life in a way that can excite and enthuse Gemalto’s prospects and customers. Alongside, we designed an infographic explaining how the service works, using icons and illustrations to represent it visually.

Impact

Both assets are hosted on a dedicated page within Gemalto’s website. Within two weeks of launch, that webpage become the most visited banking page on Gemalto’s website, with visitors spending an average of almost five minutes on the page. Organic views of the video topped 1,000 within the first month.
