Vodafone: Global digital partner
Putting the Audience First with Social Storytelling.

Challenge

In November 2019 we took on the role of Vodafone’s global digital communications partner, supporting with the identification and development of stories, creation of digital content and assets, social media strategy (organic and paid), and influencer relations

Approach

Activity included:

  • Development and execution of a digital communications strategy that positions and promotes Vodafone Group to its primary audiences
  • A six-month secondment of senior staff into Vodafone’s in-house team to help coordinate strategy and activity directly
  • Management of Vodafone Group’s outbound social channels, including content, communities, visual identity, asset production and measurement
  • Development and launch of dedicated website for Vodafone’s new diversity focused initiative #ChangeTheFace
  • Exec social programme – including set-up, launch and ongoing management of the CEO’s LinkedIn profile

 

Impact

We created a strategic roadmap which would define the framework of our approach. We also created an in-depth Playbook which provided an overview of the strategy, channel usage support and guidance for stakeholders and for local markets. Working directly with the team, we have put the Playbook’s guidelines into action, delivering social content with engagement levels above industry and company benchmarks.
