Former BT Head of Public Affairs Joins Brands2Life

Brands2Life has appointed public affairs specialist Clova Fyfe to lead the agency’s Public Affairs practice.

Clova has over 20 years’ experience working across Westminster and in-house for major brands including Camelot and the BPI.  Clova spent more than a decade leading BT’s public affairs team at a time when the business launched its first TV service, negotiated with Government on the roll-out of fibre broadband and acquired EE.  Clova brings a wealth of skills, insight and experience to Brands2Life and its growing client base.

During what will be a critical year, as the UK emerges from the COVID pandemic and navigates a post Brexit landscape, there has never been a more important time for companies to make sure their voice is heard across government and policy teams with an effective Public Affairs strategy.

Clova has been working with Brands2Life for the past year as a consultant. She will join Brands2Life’s Senior Leadership Team and take over the helm of the Public Affairs practice. She will be responsible for driving business growth, working closely with clients to develop innovative propositions and strategies to deliver for brands that are transforming the world.

The public affairs practice has grown considerably in the past year with tech, health-tech and sustainability as prime drivers in delivering new business.   The portfolio of public affairs clients includes DMSL, Hologic, Nuance Communications, Olympus Medical and Tetra Pak.

Sarah Scales, Co-Founder said of the appointment, “Clova is an exceptional public affairs leader and brings a wealth of expertise to the agency. After a year of outstanding growth for the team, we are looking forward to working with Clova to develop and shape our already industry-leading public affairs offer.”

Clova said, “I’m absolutely delighted to be joining Brands2Life. The agency has an exciting approach to integrated campaigns which ensures fantastic outcomes for organisations and businesses.

I’m looking forward to building the Public Affairs practice to both meet the needs of existing clients and to attract new ones.  The agility and responsiveness that an agency like Brands2Life offers is increasingly what successful forward-thinking companies need in these fast-changing times”.
