London, UK – 24 June 2025 – Brands2Life has reinforced its cybersecurity practice with the promotion of Michael Bartley to Head of Cybersecurity. In this newly-created role, Michael will lead and expand the agency’s large and fast-growing security portfolio, which includes brands such as Arctic Wolf, ESET, F5, NetSPI and Risk Ledger.
Michael’s promotion comes at a time when many organisations increasingly fear cyber incidents – and their impact on revenues and trust. This means a greater need than ever for expert comms counsel to help brands navigate a complex and congested landscape and cyber-security differentiates themselves in a fast-growing market.
Michael began his career in asset management before pivoting to technology PR, giving him a real understanding of risk, resilience and reputational management. Since joining Brands2Life in 2021, Michael has played a central role in winning and leading flagship cybersecurity accounts, while building a specialist team.
André Labadie, Executive Chair of Business & Technology at Brands2Life, says, “Michael’s promotion to Head of Cybersecurity is hugely deserved. We’ve long had a deep expertise in cybersecurity, but since Michael’s joined it’s strengthened even further as he’s played a significant role in landing – and doing game-changing work for – some of the most exciting and ambitious cyber brands out there. The energy Michael brings to every single thing he does is infectious, so we’re delighted for his promotion and look forward to seeing further growth under his leadership.”
Michael adds, “There is a huge opportunity for the brands transforming our world to break through with bold, relevant storytelling – especially as AI, cyber risk and geopolitical uncertainty continue to dominate the agenda. Cyber resilience has always struck me as more than just a security issue, it’s a business growth enabler and a boardroom priority. It’s a sector I’ve always been fascinated by, and I look forward to continuing to enhance our work in this space.”
