In 2019, we had our best year yet, with film among our fastest growing divisions. The team produced more branded films than ever before (200+) for some of the world biggest brands across an array of sectors. And an impressive 30 percent of clients came to us to create branded video content including Tetra Pak, Hologic and VMWare.
Among our enviable roster are two films created for LinkedIn entitled ‘Real Face of Sales’ and ‘Get Closer’ which helped to launch the first brand awareness campaign for B2B sales tool LinkedIn Sales Navigator. The two series-based films achieved more than nine million video views collectively and a further 88 million stills asset views.
Further showing off the breadth of our filmmaking capabilities, the video team worked with British Horseracing Authority (BHA) and footballing legend Michael Owen to shoot a documentary-style film called ‘The Horse Comes First’. The film showcased the incredible care and love racehorses receive and garnered praise, not only from within the industry but more widely too.
From football royalty to celebrity etiquette expert, we also teamed up with William Hanson to create a tongue-in-cheek film for Expedia, chronicling the ‘dos and don’ts’ of hotel and airport travel. Directed by comedy director Ben Fogg, the thigh-slapping film received more than 15,000 organic views on William’s YouTube channel and featured on top national media websites including the MailOnline, Daily Express and Daily Mirror.
Commenting on the award win, Matt Peltier, Head of Film (Digital Marketing & Social Media) said, “This is a fantastic win for us and recognition of the explosive last year for the Brands2Life Film offering. The variety of clients we have means we are creating content across the media/visual/brand landscape giving us range and opportunity unlike so many others. This is just the start of the great and varied branded content we’re going to making at Brands2Life and we look forward to telling deeper, more interesting and exciting stories for all our of clients.”
Kinda Jackson, Managing Director (Digital & Influencer) added, “We’re absolutely ecstatic to have won PR Agency of the Year at the Brand Film Festival. We’ve had an astonishing year in film and branded content, from turning technical B2B content into beautiful, easily digestible films to creating entertaining consumer video campaigns that hit the mark with target audiences every time. Despite the challenging times, as part of our integrated digital offering, we’re continuing to put our clients at the heart of the narrative and create even more exceptional, award-winning films for the brands transforming our world.”
