Paid Media Account Director

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Paid Media Account Director looking to develop their career within an ambitious and supportive agency committed to delivering innovative campaigns.

Our digital team has been recognised multiple times as the best in-house agency team at the UK Social Media Awards. We pride ourselves on delivering cutting-edge campaigns across multiple channels, including paid social, PPC, YouTube, Google, and Spotify.

We’re passionate about creating seamless brand experiences for top-tier global B2B and B2C clients and continuously exploring new platforms and technologies.

Our paid media team is a close-knit sub-team of 5 within a wider digital and social team of over 30, and a larger agency of over 180.

We’re looking for a talented individual who may currently be a Senior Manager or Manager ready to step up into a more strategic role. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and isn’t afraid to muck in and get hands-on with the team when needed.

The Role

As a Paid Media Account Director, you will:

  • Lead the end-to-end management of paid media accounts, ensuring that campaigns align with client goals and are delivered on time, within budget, and with measurable results.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of campaigns across various paid channels, with a focus on social, but potentially incorporating display, PPC, and programmatic, providing strategic insights and guidance.
  • Be a primary point of contact for clients, offering consultancy on paid media strategies, budget planning, and data-driven performance improvements.
  • Help to manage client administration and reporting processes, including P&L updates, budget tracking, and ensuring timely and transparent client communications.
  • Develop and deliver training for junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and growth within the team.
  • Stay informed on platform updates, trends, and industry shifts to ensure our clients stay ahead of the curve in a fast-evolving digital landscape.
About You

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale paid social campaigns and multi-channel media plans, across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights that drive campaign performance.
  • Exceptional client management skills, adept at building and maintaining strong client relationships, presenting strategies, and handling feedback.
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior team members, with a collaborative and empowering leadership style.
  • A hands-on approach and willingness to support the team with day-to-day tasks when needed, contributing directly to project success.
  • A proactive approach to account management, able to identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and contribute to new business pitches.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring that projects are managed efficiently and effectively.
  • Interest in other paid digital channels such as PPC, YouTube, Google, and programmatic advertising. Experience in these areas is a plus but not required as training can be provided.
