Our challenge is to differentiate the organisation from its competition through its consumer champion brand positioning.
This involves running an extremely busy press office. As part of this we:
- Develop proactive consumer focused stories, on topics from claiming credit from your energy supplier to green tariffs and fuel poverty
- Craft reactive comment on a wide variety of issues from energy supplier prices rises, to regulation affecting the energy industry
- Target the lifestyle media with feature ideas and top tips
- Focus on broadcast features to drive switching
- Run a PA support programme, helping uSwitch to manage issues affecting the energy market.
In one year we secured 2,275 pieces of coverage, 614 of which were broadcast pieces, and 151 of those national broadcast pieces.
