Research Executive – Strategy and Planning

Brands2Life is looking for a Research Executive to work in a varied role for our Strategy and Planning team, which supports all sectors and capabilities across the agency. The position will involve working across some of the company’s biggest brands and will play an important part in growing new relationships with prospective clients.

We are looking for a forward-thinking, analytical, curious, and inquisitive individual who has a passion for extracting insights from data to tell compelling stories and understands what drives audience behaviours as well as shapes the media landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Using different tools and platforms for media intelligence (e.g., Brandwatch) and audience profiling (e.g. GWI)
  • Application of insight and learnings to the comms strategy and the capability to articulate the jobs to be done
  • Use of commercial acumen and ability to see value of insights in the support of driving decisions
  • Desire to interpret data/insights and think around a problem to find interesting solutions to client challenges/opportunities

Requirements:

  • Keen interest in marketing and communications
  • Ability to think critically and challenge constructively
  • Comfortable both presenting and writing up findings and recommendations
  • A good people person who is able to work independently but also part of a broad range of different teams
  • Data literate and able to articulate their view from numbers
  • Interest in popular culture, media industry and comms trends

Desirable experience:

  • Marketing or communications background (agency, brand or client side)

The role requires strong project management and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced team and see variety of tasks as a positive. No day – or brief – is the same.
