Tanium: Building brand awareness in cybersecurity

CHALLENGE

Tanium is a hyper-growth cybersecurity company which – at the time of our partnership – had little brand awareness in the UK. It wanted a communications programme that reflected its huge ambition so we were challenged to excite people about the future of endpoint security and give Tanium a leadership position in the discussion around IT operations and security.

APPROACH

To achieve this, we kickstarted its UK awareness journey, by developing a powerful integrated campaign, we delivered standout coverage in almost 150 publications including Forbes and CityAM. This was accompanied by a heavy press office, to promote the leadership position of its CISO to talk to mainstream issues and grab national headlines.

IMPACT

Month-in and month-out we land tier one hits for the cybersecurity giant, in an incredibly crowded market. We have positioned Tanium as the voice on visibility and control of endpoints through multiple global campaigns and secured coverage in national media including the Financial Times, Guardian, Forbes, Telegraph and City AM alongside countless pieces across the core security and tech trades. As a result, the Head of Communications for Europe won an internal award for increasing awareness for Tanium.
