VMware – Force for Good
VMware wanted a way to show their Force For Good case studies (which we have been creating for social media) in a unique, engaging and interactive way at their annual global event: VMWorld. The solution had to be impactful and yet be simple, requiring no additional instruction for any of the event visitors.
We started with the UX, creating two different approaches that would deliver the brief across two large touch screens on site. We then created full UI designs along with UX animations to show how they could work.
After presenting to the client, and with additional user feedback, we chose a a final route, and we developed the whole thing as a bespoke TV web app – using HTML5 as well as a bespoke CMS set up to add or edit content as needed.
The TV app was set up with events tracking and generated over 1200 interactions during the VMworld conference. Along with the TV app (custom developed to ensure it works both on and offline) we also created an online version.
