Gemalto: Engaging, always-on content for Gemalto
CHALLENGE
In 2010, Gemalto tasked Brands2Life with developing its global social media strategy. Part of this was the creation of an official company blog and a consumer advice site. For both, the challenge is to consistently create interesting content to engage with Gemalto’s target audiences – whether industry stakeholders in security, IoT, mobile, banking and government, or general consumers – and build a thriving community in which Gemalto can engage its customers and influencers.
APPROACH
The Gemalto blog and JustAskGemalto page were designed and built by our in-house team, and refreshed regularly. Both are designed with sharing in mind, with social functionality built in alongside options to leave comments or questions. We plan regular weekly content on topical issues around connectivity and security, as well as thought pieces designed to support specific product launches.
IMPACT
Both sites continue to go from strength to strength. In 2018 alone, more than 1 million visits were made across the blog and JustAskGemalto – making it our most successful year yet. A recent blog post exploring the launch of a new Gemalto payment card in Italy was shared more than 1,000 times.
