Brands2Life global research heralds a ‘New Normal for News’

40 percent of the media say they are now ‘digital first’, half publish their own video, and over a half gather stories from trusted sources via social media.

These are some of the key trends that are driving big shifts in the way journalists and media organisations around the world gather and communicate the news – what we have dubbed ‘the New Normal for News’.

We’ve run the Oriella Digital Journalism Study, with the support of our international agency partners every year since 2008.  We regularly poll over 500 journalists in 15 countries, spanning Europe, Russia, China, India, Australasia, North America and Brazil.
