A CorpComms award nomination scooped up by Brands2Life

London, 2 October 2017 – We are delighted to kick off the week with a nomination at the CorpComms Awards. The awards programme celebrates excellence across the communications industry from city communications to public sector campaigns.

‘The Future of Healthy Drinks’ campaign, created with Tetra Pak, has been shortlisted in the ‘Best Public Affairs Campaign’ category.  Following the Government’s announcement to introduce a Soft Drinks Industry Levy (SDIL) at Budget 2016, we worked with Tetra Pak to reset the negative conversation around two of it’s key categories, juice and dairy drinks.

Our integrated ‘Future of Health Drinks’ campaign encompassed a range of communication channels including a thought leadership report, stakeholder roundtable that engaged Tetra Pak’s customers and government officials, events and media. The campaign highlighted how producers were already engaged through cutting sugar, reformulation and education, and looked at the key ways producers can continue to support consumers to make healthier choices.

Through this Tetra Pak championed the work of juice and dairy producers and helped to rebalance the overwhelmingly negative debate around drinks, sugar and health by securing media exposure and influencing Government policy. The campaign engaged with government officials and influential third parties including the Department of Health, Public Health England and the Food and Drink Federation. It also resulted in eight pieces of coverage, including The Grocer.
