We were particularly proud of our PR Moment Diversity & Inclusion Agency of the Year in 2022.

There isn’t an agency in London where you will learn more, develop faster, be rewarded better or have more fun. We offer a fantastic working environment, excellent long-term career opportunities and highly competitive range of industry-leading benefits.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Video Editor with strong editorial thinking to join our busy team. As a crucial player in the post-production process, you will work on a diverse range of projects for brands across various platforms. Experience in an agency, broadcaster, or production company is essential, providing you with an understanding of client needs and industry standards. Your ability to quickly understand subject matter and make impactful editorial choices will be instrumental.

You will execute producer-led briefs accurately while also taking autonomous responsibility for leading the creative edit process. In addition to your editing expertise, having the ability to shoot video is highly favourable, and you will have the opportunity to develop this skill further. Your technical knowledge, including social platforms, best practices, and output requirements, such as frame rates, aspect ratios, pixel dimensions, and video formats, will ensure high-quality results.

With your solid grasp of film grammar and visual language, you will infuse fresh energy into established formats. Collaboration and problem-solving will be second nature to you, excelling both on set and in the edit. Familiarity with technology-related subjects will be advantageous, considering our clients’ focus in the tech space. Your keen eye for data management will guarantee backups, contingencies, and a well-organised library of work, including archived and originally created content. Additionally, your effective communication with producers will ensure obtaining final copies of delivered work.

Desirable skills and attributes:
  • Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • A level of familiarity and experience with After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator would be favourable
  • A strong sense of storytelling and be able to create compelling narratives through video editing.
  • A keen understanding of pacing, rhythm, and visual aesthetics.
  • Detail-oriented and able to spot errors or inconsistencies in footage.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Comfortable working with a team and taking feedback from others.
  • Ability to think creatively to solve problems that arise during the editing process.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • A solid portfolio showcasing your previous video editing projects, demonstrating technical proficiency and creative storytelling.
  • Knowledge of camera equipment and lighting techniques
  • Ability to work with different types of cameras, including DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, and professional-grade cameras
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the entire post-production process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality video content that aligns with the project objectives and creative vision.
  • Collaborate with the creative team, including directors, producers, and cinematographers, to develop and execute the desired creative vision for each project.
  • Utilise advanced editing techniques, including colour correction, audio enhancement, and visual effects, to enhance the overall quality of the videos.
  • Manage and organise project files, ensuring they are properly backed up and easily accessible for future reference or revisions.
  • Collaborate with the production team to establish efficient workflows and streamline the post-production process.
  • Ensure all video projects are delivered on time and within budget, managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritising tasks effectively.
  • Maintain a keen eye for detail, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of visual and audio elements throughout the videos.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to gather requirements, address feedback, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Staying up to date with industry trends and new editing techniques.
