Account Executive

The role sits within our Corporate Affairs & Responsible Business practice, a team that comprises corporate and sustainability comms experts – as well as our first class public affairs specialists.

Clients in our team include FTSE 100 businesses, global FMCG brands and pioneering technology businesses and start-ups in some of the most exciting sectors such as fintech and insurtech..  

We are looking for an Account Executive with experience. You will be a talented storyteller and someone who enjoys media relations with an eye to understanding what will work for key journalists and media outlets. Our Account Executives have opportunities to write a range of content and stylistic copy, while feeding into bigger creative plans that will be inspired by cultural trends as well as ESG goals and frameworks.

Within this position, you will be playing a leading role in the day-to-day activity on your accounts, with responsibilities including:  

  • Media relations – you’ll have excellent contacts – across a broad bench of media (including business, technology and SME) press. We’re also looking for someone who takes interest in trends across social media so that we can keep our clients informed of cultural trends and even be inspired by ways of delivering different messages  
  • Delivering brilliant results – you know what works and can draft the perfect media pitch for sell-ins – you’ll have demonstrated results you’ve achieved 
  • Day to day account and client management – to exceed client expectations; you’ll play a leading role in ensuring brilliant delivery of daily, weekly and monthly activity. You’ll be the main point of contact for your clients – keeping them up to date with developments 
  • Great written work – from writing up creative ideas through to media pitches, press releases, briefing documents and more  
  • Passion for the wider integrated mix – pairing influencer work along with PR-able content to maximize output  
  • You’ll have a keen eye for detail, brilliant organisation skills and want to play a project manager role for the accounts you work on
