Account Director – B2B Technology (US Office)

Following the launch of our first US office in San Francisco in January 2017, exciting new business wins and tremendous award successes including the Holmes Report’s ‘Global Technology Agency of the Year’ and being shortlisted for ‘2018 North American New Agency of the Year’, we are looking to recruit a driven, creative and entrepreneurial Account Director.

This is a unique opportunity to help build the fast-growing San Francisco arm of the agency from the foundations up. The Account Director will play a pivotal role in leading the organization, working alongside the Managing Director to help target and win new business that excites them, lead integrated, international campaigns for some of the World’s best recognized businesses as well as innovate B2B technology startups; as well as act as a mentor and manager for the team.

Our ideal Account Director will have:

  • 7+ years of PR experience, with at least 50% of that time spent working with B2B technology clients as well as in an agency role
  • A genuine interest and deep knowledge in B2B technology
  • Experience overseeing the development of high-level strategy with clients
  • Extensive relationships with business and technology media
  • Exceptional writing skills and ability to both draft and edit a wide variety of content
  • The ability to manage 4-6 account teams and ensure account targets and client expectations are consistently exceeded
  • Experience working on both integrated and international campaigns
  • A desire to participate actively in new business and agency marketing activity and the ability to demonstrate previous success in these areas
  • An eagerness and ability to mentor and manage team members
  • Excellent attention to detail as well as organization and time management skills
