Brands2Life appoints Ollie Edwards as Creative Director, Consumer
London, 10th October 2017 – Brands2Life has appointed Ollie Edwards as Creative Director for its award-winning consumer team.
Ollie will be responsible for further enhancing the agency’s growing reputation for creative storytelling. As well as delivering ambitious, award-winning campaign ideas for clients and new business pitches, he will take charge of creative best practice across the 25-strong consumer team.
In recent years, Ollie has led teams that have received many industry accolades. Last year, Brands2Life’s ‘High Speed Selfie’ campaign for Virgin Media was named Technology Campaign of the Year at the PRWeek Awards as well as scooping a Masters of Marketing award. Ollie also led Rentokil’s ‘Pestaurant’ campaign which picked up a total of nine campaign awards at the CIPR, PRCA, SABRE EMEA and CorpComms (Grand Prix) awards.
Aside from this, his teams have designed and delivered memorable and high-impact campaigns for some of Britain’s best-known brands, including Gatwick Airport, Match, Moonpig, Candy Crush and John Lewis. Ollie joined Brands2Life ten years ago as a graduate trainee, progressing through the ranks to lead some of the agency’s largest consumer clients before taking on his new role.
Ollie said: “Great creative is the one thing that can make all of our jobs easier. Easier for clients to buy and benefit from. Easier for our teams to pitch successfully to media. And easier for our target consumers to see, share and enjoy. It is both the most fun and the most fundamental part of any agency’s output, and I can’t wait to get stuck into the new role.”
Giles Fraser, Co-Founder, Brands2Life, said: “Ollie’s been the creative force behind some of our best-known consumer campaigns in recent years. Coming from an account-handling background means that he has an innate understanding of what ideas will sell, both to clients and to media.”
