A triple nomination for Brands2Life at the Chartered Institute of Marketing awards
London, 18th January 2017 – We are delighted to announce that we have been nominated three times at the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s (CIM) Marketing Excellence Awards 2017 for our sponsorship activation campaign for Appletiser at Ascot Racecourse. Now in its eighth year, the CIM awards are one of the most prestigious accolades in the marketing industry and we are thrilled to be recognised once again for our work with Appletiser, in partnership with Howell Penny.
Following our success at the CIM awards last year where we picked up the award for Brand Experience 2016, we are excited to be shortlisted in three new categories this year, including: Best Brand Building Campaign (Large), Best Integrated Campaign (Large) and Marketing Campaign of the Year (Large).
Together with Appletiser’s in-house team and shopper marketing agency Howell Penny, we built our campaign around ‘Appletiser through the Decades’ to land Appletiser’s core brand intrinsics of 100% juice, its 50-year heritage and increase awareness of Appletiser as the ‘Official Soft Drink of Ascot’. We aligned all activations across experiential, sampling, social media and PR distributing 19k samples of Appletiser, selling ~7k bottles on site, driving 33k social media video views and generating 110 pieces of coverage.
