Brands2Life takes home a win at the Masters of Marketing Awards
5th October, London – Brands2Life are delighted to announce that our work with Virgin Media on their network expansion campaign has won the ‘Telecoms, Energy and Utilities’ category at the Masters of Marketing Awards. Run by Marketing Week, the awards recognise creativity, innovation and effectiveness in marketing, Virgin’s High Speed Selfie campaign was also shortlisted in the ‘Experiential and Events’ category and for ‘Best PR Campaign’.
The experiential campaign which has been widely acknowledged at industry leading awards including a PRCA Award nomination last month, has been awarded for marketing excellence in the telecoms, energy and utilities sector. A landmark investment from Virgin Media demanded an innovative launch to take your breath away. We aimed to meet the challenge with a full-throttle mechanic that brought to life Virgin Media’s broadband proposition: the world’s first ‘High Speed Selfie’ booth: a photo booth super-charged with 270 mph winds. The stunt saw 4,000 people ‘blown away’ by our immersive selfie booth, generating 226 pieces of coverage and successfully spreading demand for Virgin Media’s broadband network expansion.
